Here’s a quick one to start: Updates to some standards from IEEE, UL, IEC, and others are poised to make electric grids much more flexible and resilient. It’s boring and unsexy but there will be large scale implications in a relatively short span that the average person just won’t notice but will be better off for it.Is this real life?

I don't get why they even are. All of the personalities could work just as well on either gender and would allow for much more diverse villagers. There's no reason a female villager can't be cranky or a jock, and the same withe male villagers and peppy or snooty. The only problem with changing it is the "sisterly" name.
